Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center seeks an HR professional to guide labor/employee relations and interpret union contracts, ensuring MMC policies are followed and that management and associates maintain favorable working relationships.

The role requires experience with union environments, strong knowledge of federal/state laws (FMLA, ADA, etc.), and a focus on preventing grievances and litigation while promoting fair workplace practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Associate's degree required
• 5 years of experience required in HR within a union environment
• Strong preference in Labor & Employee Relations.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and City las (e.g. FMLA, ADA, ESSTA, PFL,NRC guidelines)
• Knowledgeable on conducting investigations
• Knowledge of unions and CBA's
