Job Title: Employee Health Supervisor

As the Employee Health Supervisor, you are responsible for delivering, overseeing, and measuring the employee health service line. Your role is to integrate these services with other organizational functions, reduce employer costs, and maintain a healthy workforce. You will manage all aspects of the service line, ensuring clinical and service quality, compliance with regulatory requirements, operational excellence, results, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee all phases of the employee health program.
  2. Implement program goals and policies established by medical and administrative directors.
  3. Coordinate with support departments on budget, marketing, and personnel management.
  4. Facilitate employee health clinic activities in conjunction with other hospital services.
  5. Ensure quality assurance and participate in safety and infection control committees.
  6. Develop and implement wellness programs and other employee engagement initiatives.
  7. Manage daily clinic activities including physical exams, treatments, screenings, and employee education.
  8. Ensure thorough pre-employment physical examinations and proper documentation.
  9. Lead and manage clinical staff, including performance reviews, recruitment, and disciplinary actions.
  10. Coordinate healthcare processes from employee entry to return-to-duty.
  11. Develop new services with support from finance and marketing teams.
  12. Create and execute a business plan for the department.
  13. Participate in relevant affinity groups.
  14. Follow the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine's Code of Ethical Conduct.
  15. Collaborate with the Physician Director and Infection Control Nurse/Epidemiologist.
  16. Generate monthly reports and dashboards.
  17. Manage employee treatment, referrals, and wellness programs in collaboration with HR.
  18. Hold monthly meetings with the medical director to review medical care and issues.
  19. Review and update policies annually.
  20. Ensure compliance with OSHA, Workers' Compensation laws, DOT, CDC, and other relevant regulations.
  21. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Required: Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Preferred: Master's degree or higher.
Experience:
  • Strong skills in MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations, staffing, metrics, EMR, competencies, and regulations.
  • Experience in public health, industrial, ambulatory care, hospital, or wellness settings.
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Preferred: Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Nurse.
