Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver comprehensive Employee Health Services aligned with HIPAA and the network's policies. The role involves pre-employment screenings, immunization programs, and fitness-for-duty evaluations to support workforce health and safety.

You will lead immunization and surveillance programs, manage work-related injuries and cases, and collaborate with leaders to ensure timely accommodations and compliance with safety

Qualifications

• Current State of PA RN licensure OR current multi-state licensure through eNLC.
• Minimum 5 years as a registered nurse.
• Experience in Employee Health or Occupational Health is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts post-offer, pre-hire screening of new hire candidates including initial health assessment, department testing, follow-up, lab work review, vaccine updates and drug testing.
• Coordinates and administers medical surveillance and immunization programs.
• Evaluates and determines employees’ fitness for duty through health histories, physical assessments, diagnostic tests and medical documentation.
• Leads or participates in hospital committees and performance improvement initiatives.
• Coordinates treatment and follow-up care for work-related exposures and injuries, provides case management and facilitates return to work.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with leaders to coordinate accommodations, return to work, compliance health requirements and safety improvements.
