Job summary

AdventHealth in Maitland, FL is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for Employee Health. You will lead a team in onboarding centers and on-site clinics, ensuring safe, compliant care across multiple facilities.

You will supervise staff, coordinate vaccines and exposure protocols, and partner with leadership to implement best practices in occupational health. Strong compliance, communication, and data reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Management experience in employee health or occupational health services.
• Experience with multi-state/multi-region operations.
• Knowledge of Employee Health practices and Worker's Compensation.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor budget for employee health activities including ordering of supplies and related expenses.
• Develops and implements educational training for employee health team and team members.
• Provides direct supervision to employee health team in onboarding centers or facility employee health clinics.
• Provides education and training to employee/occupational health staff on latest methodology and best practice standards.
• Establish and implement staffing and hours to suit department and customers to ensure safe, effective care.
• Track data and metrics related to occupational health and provide reports to committees.
• Review documentation and EMR systems for designated programs.
• Collaborate across multiple departments and committees.
• Collaborate with Sr Manager and Medical Director and review medical directives.
• Supervise activities including onboarding, vaccine management, and clinic operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

• Tracks and monitors budget for employee health activities including ordering of supplies and related expenses.
• Develops and implements educational training for employee health team and team members.
• Provides direct supervision to employee health team in either onboarding centers or facility employee health clinics.
• Provides education and training to employee/occupational health staff on latest methodology and best practice standards and provides clinical expertise in the field of employee/occupation health.
• Establish and implement appropriate staffing and hours of operation to suit both the needs of the department and to customers to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care.
• Tracks data and metrics related to occupational health and creates and provides reports required by internal and external reporting committees.
• Reviews, evaluates, and maintains documentation system and Electronic Medical Record for designated programs.
• Collaborates and services on various committees across multiple departments including infection prevention, nursing leadership, human resources, corporate division and others.
• Collaborates with Sr Manager and Medical Director and reviews medical directives.
• Supervises employee health team in delivering healthcare consistent with standards of practice and organization policy.
• Manages activities of occupational health programs including new hire onboarding, vaccine administration and management, blood and body fluid exposure, respirator fit programs, and facility-based employee health clinics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively provide leadership and direction in a high volume fast paced environment. [Required]
• Ability to manage remote clinics efficiently and effectively. Multi-state/multi-region. [Required]
• Ability to understand and effectively help facilitate strategies and goals and organizational objectives. [Required]
• Demonstrate knowledge of Employee Health practices, Occupational Health Issues and Worker's Compensation. [Required]
• Demonstrate knowledge of Employee & Corporate Wellness practices and programs. [Required]
• Ability to maintain in strict confidence all personal information and must possess and model the highest level of personal integrity. [Required]
• Demonstrated experience with proactive influence and change management. [Required]
• Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. [Required]
• PureOHS and Epic EMR and Scheduling Systems knowledge required. [Required]
• Knowledge of Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) waived lab requirements [Preferred]

• Technical/Vocational School [Required]

Work Experience:

• 2+ years management experience and oversight of employee or occupational health services [Preferred]
• 2+ years' experience in employee health, occupational health, workers compensation or industrial health. [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• License Practical Nurse (LPN) [Required]
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Preferred]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

• $49,795.20 - $92,622.40
