Job description

Belvedere Trading is a leading proprietary trading firm proudly headquartered in downtown Chicago. Our traders work hard to provide liquidity to the market through their market-making activities and are the masters of a diverse set of commodities, interest rates, exchange-traded funds (ETF), and equity index options. From the beginning, we began iteratively investing in our proprietary technology and committing to building our systems from the ground up. Our trading models and software systems are continually re-engineered, optimized, and maintained to stay on top of the industry.

Our People Team department focuses on delivering employee-first solutions to the business. We go all-out to understand and support our team member's needs, leverage data to gain insights and trends, and advance our human-capital-related applications for efficiency and consistency. We look for passionate team members that excel and their contribution is critical to our continued success. The People Team is comprised of Employee Experience, People Operations, Talent, and People & Development. These groups work closely together to bring in the best talent for Team Belvedere and from day one, make sure that all team members have all the tools they need to succeed and develop through their tenure.

Belvedere Trading is seeking an Employee Experience Coordinator to join our People Team. The Employee Experience team helps shape what it feels like to work at Belvedere by creating meaningful programs, experiences, and traditions that foster connection, engagement, and a strong sense of community. From company events and employee recognition programs to in-office experiences, wellness initiatives, the company store, and office operations, this team plays an important role in supporting our culture and enhancing everyday life at Belvedere.

The Employee Experience Coordinator will support a variety of firmwide programs and initiatives designed to create an engaging, welcoming, and people-centered workplace. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships, creating memorable experiences and events, and helping others feel valued and connected. The successful candidate is approachable, proactive, and comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization. They will serve as a champion of our culture, helping bring our core values to life through thoughtful execution and exceptional support.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail and solution-oriented, and energized by creating a positive experience for both employees and visitors. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and are passionate about fostering a workplace where people feel supported, appreciated, and excited to come to.

  • Serve as a visible and approachable culture ambassador, building relationships across the firm and creating opportunities for team members to feel connected, included, and valued throughout their day-to-day experience.
  • Continuously identify and implement creative ways to enhance the in-office experience, from celebrations and employee appreciation moments to workplace amenities, seasonal programming, and engagement activities.
  • Regularly gather employee feedback and observations to identify opportunities to improve workplace experiences, strengthen engagement, and elevate Belvedere's culture.
  • Manage ongoing Employee Experience programs, ensuring common areas, employee-facing resources, and workplace experiences reflect a welcoming, high-energy, and people-first environment.
  • Partner with office management and People Team stakeholders to create memorable moments throughout the year that strengthen community, celebrate achievements, and reinforce company values.
  • Lead the planning and execution of company events across all office locations, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid experiences.
  • Manage end-to-end event delivery, including budget tracking, vendor sourcing, invitation development, agenda and run-of-show creation, attendee management, and logistics coordination.
  • Coordinate event communications, registrations, onsite operations, and post-event follow-up to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Collect and analyze event metrics, engagement data, and feedback to measure program effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Provide onsite support for meetings and events, including attendee experience, A/V setup, technology troubleshooting, and day-of logistics.
  • Anticipate challenges, proactively solve issues, and build strong partnerships with stakeholders to deliver exceptional experiences and successful outcomes.
  • Partner cross-functionally with People Team colleagues and business leaders to create engaging employee experiences that align with firm culture and business objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience in Employee Experience, Event Management, Hospitality, Office Operations, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Proven success planning and executing large-scale events and complex programs, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience managing program and event budgets, evaluating vendors, and building strong external partnerships to deliver high-quality experiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence and professionalism, to build relationships and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Naturally approachable and service-oriented, with a passion for creating exceptional employee experiences and fostering a welcoming, inclusive workplace culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects from concept through execution, proactively identifying opportunities, solving problems, and driving results with minimal oversight.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapts quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude and high level of professionalism.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple deadlines without sacrificing quality or follow-through. Detail oriented is a must.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Forms.
