Job summary

Vail Resorts is seeking an Employee Engagement Specialist to bring our culture to life through meaningful communications, resources and events. You will drive onboarding improvements, manage engagement platforms and lead employee listening activities to shape our programs.

You will collaborate across teams to deliver inclusive, engaging experiences for seasonal and year-round staff, fostering belonging and helping people thrive. Flexible location supports remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering employee engagement, training, communications, wellbeing or other people initiatives.
• Qualifications in Human Resources, Talent & Culture, Learning and Development, Employee Experience or Internal Communications.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset and passion for great employee experiences.
• Familiarity with the ski industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee events and Street Team activations.

What You'll Do

You’ll drive and continuously improve a range of employee experience initiatives, including:

• Employee communications and digital engagement apps and platforms.


• Employee events and Street Team activations.


• Contributing to an excellent onboarding experience


• Continuous Listening (employee surveys), reporting and action planning.


• Other employee engagement projects and programs (e.g. DEI, training events)


• Reporting, insights and continuous improvement across employee experience programs.

What You'll Bring

We’re looking for someone who is organised, collaborative and passionate about creating exceptional employee experiences. You’ll have:

• Qualifications and/or experience in Human Resources, Talent & Culture, Learning and Development, Employee Experience, Internal Communications or a related field.


• Experience delivering employee engagement, training, communications, wellbeing, recognition or other people initiatives.


• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.


• Excellent technology skills, curious and solutions-focused approach to using digital tools to solve problems, improve processes and implement new ways of working.


• Experience coordinating programs and building effective relationships across diverse stakeholders.


• A proactive, collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for creating exceptional employee experiences.


• Familiarity with the ski industry highly desirable
