Responsibilities

• Set up the cafeteria for daily service with fresh food, supplies and proper equipment.
• Serve fellow associates during meal breaks with a smile and ensure proper portions and presentation.
• Coordinate with Food and Controllable Storerooms to maintain par stocks of china, glassware, flatware and ingredients.
• Maintain rigorous standards of food safety and cleanliness; handle spills and keep dining areas spotless.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to obtain freshly prepared food items and assist in quality checks.
• Operate the cash register or meal-tracking systems to ensure accurate billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Service Excellence: Set up the cafeteria for daily service, stocking self-service areas with fresh food, proper equipment, and supplies.
• Team Service: Serve fellow associates during meal breaks with a smile, ensuring proper portions and high-quality presentation.
• Inventory Management: Coordinate with the Food and Controllable Storerooms to maintain par stocks of china, glassware, flatware, and ingredients.
• Sanitation Champion: Maintain rigorous standards of food safety and cleanliness. This includes managing spills, clearing dishes, cleaning grills, and ensuring a spotless dining area.
• Kitchen Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen personnel to obtain freshly prepared food items and conduct taste panels to ensure quality standards.
• Transactional Accuracy: Operate the cash register or meal-tracking machines to ensure accurate billing for food items.
