Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Licensures/Certifications: Life, Accident and Health License required; professional insurance designation preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage a complex employee benefits book and be primary service contact.

Responsibilities

• Manages a complex book of business with varying funding mechanisms and complex contracts.
• Primary contact between clients and carriers to retain and grow accounts.
• Drives renewal processes and leads client meetings on renewals and utilization review.
• Introduces new products and promotes them through visits with intermediaries.
• Maintains credibility with clients by knowledge of market conditions and competitors.
• Supports open enrollment including preparation, communications and scheduling.
• Keeps documentation HIPAA-compliant and updates agency management system.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Complies with risk management program.
