Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Marketing Analyst to join our growing team!

The Employee Benefits Marketing Analyst is responsible for the overall marketing process for assigned customers. The analyst will analyze marketing research information to create innovative solutions that meet both customer and carrier insurance requirements. They will prepare and present insurance proposals for both existing and prospective clients, negotiate coverage options and pricing, and manage the bidding process with carrier partners. The analyst works directly with the designated Account Team to ensure that all aspects of the marketing and service process are managed efficiently, accurately, and professionally.

How You Will Contribute

  1. Analyze market trends to design and implement innovative strategies for sales teams and clients.
  2. Research and prepare presentations, spreadsheets, and supporting materials for client and internal use.
  3. Identify and develop new markets, methods, and business opportunities.
  4. Lead negotiation of coverages and pricing while managing the carrier bidding process.
  5. Coordinate the renewal process by preparing and releasing RFPs, gathering claims data, and reviewing carrier quotes.
  6. Collaborate with Account Managers and Producers to finalize marketing strategies and customer presentations.
  7. Maintain clear and timely communication with internal teams and carrier partners.
  8. Ensure accurate recordkeeping and up-to-date data across systems and files.
  9. Respond to all emails within 24 hours to support team efficiency and responsiveness.
  10. Stay current on industry developments and pursue ongoing professional growth.
  11. Other duties may be assigned.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Tennessee Life and Health License (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment)

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 3-5 years’ prior broker experience working with large employers (100+ employees).
  • Experience working with large employers (1,000+ employees) is preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office & Excel.
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Pay Range

$75,000 - $75,000 annually. The pay range is based on experience, geography, and other factors.
