Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an associate attorney to join its Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation team in Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate has at least two years of relevant experience and a strong interest in benefits, executive compensation, corporate, and tax law.

Responsibilities include legal research, advising on health plans and design, and guidance on compliance, amendments, and terminations. JD required; LL.M. in taxation is a plus.

Qualifications

• JD required with strong academic record.
• 2+ years of relevant employee benefits/executive compensation experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis on employee benefits and executive compensation issues.
• Advise clients on health and welfare benefits, and on plan design and compliance.
• Draft and review corporate and tax documents related to benefits programs.
