Job summary

Snellings Walters Insurance Agency is seeking an experienced client services professional to manage a book of business in employee benefits. You will nurture client relationships, handle renewals, onboard new accounts, and provide proactive benefit support.

Responsibilities include explaining benefit plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, analyzing utilization data, and resolving client inquiries in a timely, professional manner. Strong MS Office skills and a Life & Health license are required.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex information to clients and employees.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends in employee benefit plans.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking for resolving benefits issues.
  • Excellent organizational and time management to manage multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits, regulations and industry trends.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • GA Resident Life & Health License.
  • Minimum 3-5 years EB client support/management.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Manage existing client accounts including renewals and onboarding.
  • Develop and deliver communication materials; conduct enrollment meetings.
  • Assist clients with ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Resolve client issues and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee renewal processes, review proposals, negotiate rates, prepare docs.
  • Analyze utilization and claims data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Review contracts, plan documents, and SPDs for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with implementation of new clients or additional coverages.

Job description

This role requires management of a book of business; responsible for servicing, managing, retaining, and growing a high volume of accounts.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing proactive support.
  • Account Management: Manage existing client accounts, including renewals, implementation of new clients, and ongoing service.
  • Communication and Education: Develop and deliver communication materials, conduct employee enrollment meetings, and provide clear explanations of benefits plans.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Assist clients with understanding and complying with relevant regulations like ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve client issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Renewal Management: Manage the renewal process, including reviewing proposals, negotiating rates, and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze utilization reports, carrier reports, and claims data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Documentation Review: Review contracts, plan documents, and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) for accuracy and compliance.
  • Implementation and Onboarding: Assist with the implementation of new clients or additional coverages for existing clients.
