Qualifications

• 5+ years of employee benefits account management experience.
• Active California Life, Accident & Health Insurance License in good standing.
• Professional designation such as CEBS, RHU, REBC, or GBA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits products and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting employee benefits sales, renewals, and client service.

Responsibilities

• Retain and grow an assigned book of business by delivering exceptional service.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, carrier partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as a primary client contact for inquiries and day-to-day account support.
• Support sales and business development through prospect meetings and onboarding.
• Coordinate and manage renewal activities and client recommendations.
• Assist clients with benefit plan changes and open enrollment support.
• Educate clients on industry trends, compliance, and market conditions.
• Develop service plans aligned with client objectives and retention initiatives.
• Collaborate with carrier reps and internal teams to address service concerns and escalated matters.
• Prepare stewardship reports, renewal reviews, and client materials.
• Ensure accurate documentation in agency systems and compliance with regulations.
