Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of client goals to create and execute strategic benefit plans that deliver measurable results, working closely with producers and internal teams.
  • Act as the main contact for clients, managing daily communication, leading face-to-face meetings, and delivering engaging presentations.
  • Manage and execute annual service calendars, monitor issue resolution, and ensure timely, high-quality client deliverables to support retention and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Analytics and Insights teams to present detailed plan analyses, assisting clients in making informed, data-driven decisions regarding plan design and utilization.
  • Oversee compliance activities, including coordination of SPD, contracts, and legal document reviews, and support RFPs, proposals, and sales presentations for new business opportunities.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives such as open enrollment communications and educational sessions, and resolve service issues in partnership with account managers.
  • Build strong relationships with carriers, actuarial partners, and internal departments, providing mentorship to team members and fostering enterprise-wide collaboration for a seamless client experience.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; active Life and Health Insurance State License is mandatory. Preferred certifications include GBA, PHR, CLU, CEBS, or CBP.
  • At least 7 years of experience in employee benefits, preferably within an insurance carrier or brokerage environment.
  • Deep knowledge of Health and Welfare plans (HMO, PPO, CDHP) and Ancillary Coverage (Life, Disability, Dental, Vision, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements affecting health and welfare benefit plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging clients and stakeholders effectively.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of independently prioritizing responsibilities and outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (including financial spreadsheets), and PowerPoint, along with strong relationship management and customer service skills.
Benefits

This role requires a hybrid schedule with presence in the office as agreed with the manager.

Salary range: $115,000 to $140,000 annually.
