Employee Benefit Specialist
The employee benefits specialist / candidate coordinator is responsible for assisting with the administration of all benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Open Enrollment execution
- Monthly New hire enrollment execution
- Assist in configuring and testing benefit systems
- Running reports in benefit systems
- Assist in the preparation of communication materials (posters, postcards)
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of Open Enrollment and New Hire Guides
- Make weekly eligibility updates between the benefit system and payroll and carriers/vendors. Terminations, changes, adds, etc.
- Responsible for the weekly carrier error reports and resolving all issues
- Assist with data audits to ensure maintenance of accurate employee benefit information
- Monthly payment of benefit invoices and expense distribution
- Monthly invoice reconciliations and research on discrepancies
- Working with the carriers or vendors on benefit changes, file layouts, etc.
- Send authorization via Paycom to all approved candidates
- Review Background, Drivers’ License Record and Drug Test Results
- Electronically file all background results in Candidate file
- Move Candidate file into corresponding Folder when or when not hired
- Send communication to hiring manager(s) or candidate about status
- Communicate with Candidate about Background Process and Steps along the way
- Issuing pull and bonus checks for the sales department on a weekly and/or as needed
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service mindset and commitment to issue resolution
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced changing environment
- Must possess the highest degree of honestly, personal integrity and ethical standards when dealing internally and externally with peers and vendors
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Computer Skills and knowledge of Excel to include V Lookups, Pivot Tables and really comfortable with data files.
- Must be detail oriented
