Job Description Summary
The Employee and Site Communications Leader will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that support the site's goals and objectives. This role will focus on enhancing employee engagement, promoting a positive workplace culture, and ensuring effective communication across the site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal communications, excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to support site objectives and enhance employee engagement.
  • Create and manage content for various internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, and emails.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with site goals.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement events, all-employee meetings, and activities to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Lead and execute employee engagement campaigns.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to site leadership on communication best practices and strategies.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Support crisis communication efforts during emergency situations on site.
  • Ensure all communications are aligned with GE Aerospace's values and brand guidelines.
  • Foster a culture of open communication and feedback within the organization.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in internal communications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or a related role.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with event management a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and communication tools.
  • Experience with event planning and execution.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of creativity and attention to detail.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with digital communication platforms and tools, including Mail Chimp and Staffbase, a plus.

The base pay range for this position is 93,000 - 155,000 USD Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary.This posting is expected to close on July 10, 2025
