General Function

The Associate Optometrist leads in delivering the brand promise and organizational results through teamwork. Ensures high-quality optometric care, collaborates with store leadership, and promotes the brand within the community. Acts as an ambassador, driven by passion and high standards.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Ensure executional excellence and positive results in partnership with the MOD and store team.
2. Exceed results through KPI management and accountability.
3. Promote the brand as the leading optical provider.
4. Collaborate effectively with organizational and local leaders.
5. Prioritize patient/customer service, exceeding KPIs.
6. Provide comprehensive eye care, including patient education, diagnosis, and recommendations, following protocols.
7. Build positive relationships with patients.
8. Leverage technology to enhance patient experiences.
9. Maintain licensure and continuing education requirements.
10. Train and guide team members, providing feedback and fostering a positive culture.
11. Encourage decision-making at the closest level to the patient.
12. Participate actively in leadership and office appearance and safety standards.
13. Lead by example.

Basic Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree
• Commitment to quality patient care
• Knowledge of current optometric theories and technology
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Organizational skills
