Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System Great Bend Campus seeks a full-time Anesthesiologist to join a close-knit team of one anesthesiologist and two full-time CRNAs in a collaborative, patient-centered group. The ideal candidate holds an MD or DO and is board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology.

The schedule runs Monday through Friday with occasional add-on cases on Saturdays. Call is shared equitably and will not exceed a 1:3 ratio, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree or foreign-trained physician board-certified/eligible in anesthesiology.
• Board certification in anesthesiology by ABA or equivalent.
• Strong communication and collaborative approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Join a team with one anesthesiologist and two full-time CRNAs in a collaborative environment.
• Share call equitably with a 1:3 ratio, supporting work-life balance.
• Operate in OR Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday add-ons; diverse procedures.
