Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related discipline.
• Proven leadership in cross-institutional collaborative teams.
• Proven sponsored research funding from federal/state agencies.
• Proven record of peer-reviewed high-impact publications.
• Experience as an educator and research mentor at undergrad/grad level.

Responsibilities

• Lead in pursuing large funding opportunities from federal and state agencies and industry.
• Foster collaboration across campus units and external partners.
• Recruit and attract top research talent to the program.
• Span potential appointment in ECE, ME, CS, or SSIE depending on specialization.
• Provide a startup package and negotiate competitive compensation and benefits.
