Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year patient care experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Keep patient rooms tidy and sanitized.
• Assist patients with daily needs and personal hygiene.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes.
• Assist nursing staff with basic treatments.
• Ensure supplies and linen are adequate.
• Provide emotional support to patients.
• Assist with patient transfers and mobility.
• Assist with drains, ostomies, and Foley bags.
• Perform blood sugar checks.
