Job summary

BrightCare HomeCare in New Orleans area is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their homes. You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, personal care, mobility transfers, meal planning, and light housekeeping in Metairie and surrounding areas.

This PRN role offers flexible shifts, with options for part-time or full-time work. Prior home care experience and a genuine desire to help others are highly valued, and ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license may be required.
• Able to pass a background check and pre-employment screening.
• Previous at-home caregiver or senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent in their homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
• Properly manage household tasks and routines.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• Cover New Orleans and surrounding areas (Metairie, Gretna, West Bank, Algiers, Kenner).
• This is a PRN position and can be part-time or full-time based on shifts.
