Job summary

BrightCare HomeCare is seeking caregivers to support clients in Metairie, LA and surrounding areas. You will assist with daily activities, provide personal care and mobility support, and help families by offering companionship and respite services.

We offer ongoing training, CE hours, flexible scheduling, and weekly pay. Ideal candidates have a caring attitude, reliable transportation, and a willingness to work in different local areas.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Background check and pre-employment screening.
• Experience as at-home caregiver or in senior communities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent at home.
• Provide personal care, mobility assistance, transfers, and ROM exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals; assist with feeding as needed.
• Manage household tasks and errands for clients.
• Provide companionship and respite for family.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes
• Provide assistance with personal care, mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises
• Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding
• Properly manage household needs
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family
• Work in New Orleans and surrounding areas, including Metairie, Gretna, West Bank, Algiers, and Kenner

Requirements:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible
• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment screening
• Previous experience as an at-home caregiver or in senior communities
• A positive attitude and a sincere desire to help care for others
