Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts seeks a licensed RN for a part-time weekend nursing role focused on patients in an addiction treatment setting. You will provide skilled care, administer medications, and help maintain accurate medical records while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.

The position requires MA RN licensure, CPR certification, and a customer-service orientation; experience in addiction treatment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid and current Massachusetts licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience with addiction treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, high-quality nursing care and administer medications safely.
• Record symptoms, treatments, and changes in patient safety status.
• Collaborate with the care team and maintain medical records.
• Monitor patient milieu for safety and promote a therapeutic environment.
• Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living; supervise nursing staff.
• Assist in admitting, discharging, and transferring patients with safety in mind.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and aid in care plan development.
• Follow agency policies and BSAS regulations.
• Provide nursing oversight of medication room and reconcile medications in EHR.
