BayMark Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Part Time Dispensing Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join MedMark Treatment Centers in California.

The role involves dispensing prescribed meds, maintaining dispensing equipment, and managing inventory in collaboration with physicians and nursing supervisors. Ideal candidates hold an active CA LPN/LVN license with CPR, EMR proficiency, and a commitment to compassionate care in substance use treatment.

Qualifications

• Current and good standing LPN/LVN license in California.
• CA license may be substituted by Psychiatric Technician license.
• CPR certification required; EMR proficiency desired.
• Experience in chemical dependency preferred and positive attitude toward treatment.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily medication to patients per policy and protocols.
• Use automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps, maintain equipment.
• Produce and maintain records/reports per Company protocol and regs.
• Ensure security standards for distribution/storage of controlled substances.
• Order, receive and stock medications per DEA/state rules; POA consideration.
• Provide daily assessment of patients.
• Assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new nursing staff.
• Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
