Job summary

Humphreys County Nursing Home is seeking a Certified Nursing Technician to provide direct patient care, assist with activities of daily living, and support the nursing team in a caring, professional environment.

The CNT will monitor vital signs, document care activities, and ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance while maintaining respectful communication with residents and colleagues. Responsibilities include aiding in ADLs, reporting changes, and coordinating tasks with the Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care including ADLs and reporting changes.
• Accurate vital signs measurement and recording.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Document care activities in LTC system.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize assigned tasks; keep resident rooms clean.
• Take vital signs and document in LTC.
• Demonstrate compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Respond to resident calls and assist with bowel/bladder needs.
