Job summary

Lebanon School District in Pennsylvania is seeking a paraprofessional to support teachers and students. You’ll help create a safe, inclusive classroom and offer encouragement, whether guiding a lesson or sharing a smile.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or 48 college credits or PA Dept of Education test; clearances Act 151, 34, 24, IdentoGO FBI; fluency in English. Experience with children is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have an associate degree, 48 college credits or successfully pass a rigorous test approved by the PA Dept of Education.
• The following background clearances are required: Act 151, Act 34, Act 24, and IdentoGO FBI clearance
• Experience working with children preferred, but not required
• Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently

• Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce lessons and skills.
• Support teachers with classroom management and organization.
• Encourage a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment.
• Engage with students to help them feel seen and capable throughout the day

As a paraprofessional, you’ll encourage young learners, support teachers, and help students feel seen and capable—whether you’re guiding them through a lesson or just offering a smile when they need it. You’ll bring patience, kindness, and a steady presence to every day.
