Job summary

Lebanon School District in Lebanon, PA seeks a paraprofessional to support teachers and help students feel seen and capable in a lively, hands-on classroom.

You will encourage learning, assist with lessons and activities, and help create a safe, inclusive environment. Required clearances and a high school diploma or associate degree are expected, with English fluency and prior child-care experience preferred.

  • Must have an associate degree, 48 college credits or successfully pass a rigorous test approved by the PA Dept of Education.
  • Background clearances Act 151, Act 34, Act 24 and IdentoGO FBI clearance required.
  • Experience working with children preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.

Job description

As a paraprofessional, you’ll encourage young learners, support teachers, and help students feel seen and capable—whether you’re guiding them through a lesson or just offering a smile when they need it. You’ll bring patience, kindness, and a steady presence to every day.
