Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and licensure required by Maryland DOE.
• Pass CPI Training and maintain licensure annually.
• Experience with students with disabilities and IEPs preferred.
• Knowledge of special education laws and instructional methodologies.
• Ability to implement data-driven interventions and behavior supports.
• Strong human relations, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to accept and implement feedback from supervisory staff.

Responsibilities

• Implements CCPS curriculum with differentiated instruction per IEPs.
• Maintains EA behavior management system and daily data collection.
• Directs instructional assistant and coordinates IEP implementation across settings.
• Conducts de-escalation, problem solving, and crisis prevention strategies.
• Participates in weekly EA team meetings and liaises with school psychologist.
• Communicates with parents/guardians and service providers regularly.
• Completes standardized assessments and progress monitoring of IEP goals.
