Join us for a virtual interview day to explore nursing opportunities in our Medical Oncology unit. We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses with an active RN license to join our team.

• Who: Experienced Registered Nurse with active RN license

Position: Medical Oncology Nurse (7p-7a, Full-Time, 36 hours/week)

Our 40-bed Medical Oncology unit cares for surgical and medical oncology patients, including end-of-life care, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and independent nursing care using the nursing process
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized care plans
• Document care accurately in electronic and physical records
• Recognize patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education
• Respect cultural differences and individualize care accordingly
• Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Assist in orienting staff and students as needed
• Engage in professional growth and apply the AACN Synergy Model for Patient Care

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited BSN program with recent nursing experience OR recent completion of a re-entry program
• Graduate of an ADN program with at least 2 years of recent nursing experience
• Current, unencumbered Georgia RN license
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required for certain departments
