Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking an Emissions Testing Technician for our Golden, CO office within the Air Measurement Services practice. You will conduct field testing, operate/record data, and support EPA sampling methods and process knowledge.

Travel is a major part of the role, with 75% of weeks in the field and required safety training; a high school diploma or GED is mandatory, and a valid driver's license with DOT status is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Outdoor work in various seasons.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Valid DOT driver status required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Overnight travel is expected; field work typically lasts 1–5 days and 75% of weeks involve field work.
• In-field data collection, equipment operation and sample handling.
• Calibration and repair of equipment when not in the field.
• Develop knowledge of EPA sampling methods and industrial processes.
