Amentum is seeking an entry-level Vehicle Emissions Technician for the Allen Park Test Labs on the Day shift. The role involves performing vehicle emissions tests, installing and calibrating instrumentation, and operating test sites with attention to video road speed traces.

Ideal candidates will hold a high school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license, and strong MS Office skills; an Associate degree in Automotive Technology or related coursework is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/High School Equivalent required.
• Must possess the ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Must have a valid drivers’ license.
• Must possess strong computer skills in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Preferred Associates degree in Automotive Technology or two (2) years college courses in automotive engineering or related disciplines and/or two (2) years relevant experience desired.
• Prior emission vehicle chassis roll experience.

Vehicle Emissions Technician

Our experience encompasses virtually every type of automotive test facility, including climatic and driveability wind tunnels; aerodynamic, acoustic, and thermodynamic wind tunnels; emissions test rooms; soak rooms; altitude chambers; engine and powertrain test cells; and electromagnetic anechoic chambers. We not only design and build these facility systems assets but also operate, maintain, and manage these facilities. Amentum is looking for a career minded individual with a desire to learn and grow with an industry leader. We are looking for an entry level Vehicle Emissions Technician for the Allen Park Test Labs. This position is for the Day shift.
