We are seeking a Hybrid Test Engineer to join Amentum’s Technical Support Services Group. Candidate will be based in Livonia, MI. Our Advanced Solutions Group delivers the design, construction, and operation of unique and complex research and development facilities across the nuclear, automotive, motorsports, defense, and aerospace industries. Our team has supported an impressive range of clients, including Audi, Boeing, BMW, Fiat Chrysler, Ford, Honda, General Motors, NASA, the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Department of Energy, Volkswagen, and organizations throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.
An Axle and Transmission Development Laboratory (ATDL) Test Engineer is responsible for designing, delivering, and directing test systems to satisfy Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) and Transmission and Driveline Engineering (TDE) Design Verification requirements in support of all milestones and sign-off requirements. You work hand-in-hand with other engineers, along with test equipment vendors, to support the company's product testing needs. This broad responsibility provides the ability for the engineer to develop and implement a wide product testing skill set.
