Job summary

Targa Resources Corp. is seeking an ES&H Technician – Stack Testing to join the Emissions Team in West Texas, with coverage for Odessa, Monahans, and Kermit areas.

You will perform engine emissions testing, coordinate with operations for testing schedules, and support regulatory reporting and compliance activities. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Interpersonal communication skills are required to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and vendors.
• 1 year of field operations or mechanical experience, or equivalent trade school certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and operate a man-lift.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in changing climate conditions and plant environments.
• Compliance with PPE guidelines and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform engine and emissions testing on assigned units per schedules and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations to plan testing and minimize conflicts.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot engine performance and emissions issues.
• Manage emissions testing schedules and coordinate third‑party testers to meet deadlines.
• Provide QA/QC oversight for contractors and testing deliverables.
• Maintain emissions testing documentation and compliance records.
• Review test reports and data for accuracy and regulatory alignment.
• Communicate results and scheduling concerns to operations, maintenance, and environmental personnel.
• Complete assigned work timely and assist with additional tasks as needed.
