Job summary

Opus Inspection, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on emission testing equipment and manage parts inventory. The role supports station management and reports to the Systems Support Manager.

Typical hours are 40 per week with a daytime schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include hands-on maintenance of emission testers, gas analyzers, dynamometers, and related devices, plus documentation and remote

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventative maintenance and repairs on emission testing equipment.
• Recordkeeping and documentation of maintenance activities.
• Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to Emission Testing Equipment.
• Participate in company-provided training for equipment such as Computers, Peripherals, Printers, Gas Analyzers, Dynamometers, RPM Units, OBD Units, Bar Code Readers, Pneumatics.
• Perform parts inventory and requisition supplies as needed.
• Complete necessary paperwork and record all maintenance and repair activity.
• Provide station management with phone consultation regarding equipment issues when not on-site.
