Job summary

Envirotest, a proud subsidiary of Opus Inspection, seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain emission equipment and station systems. You will diagnose, calibrate, and test equipment, install new hardware, and ensure peak performance across multiple station locations.

Qualified candidates will perform routine maintenance, keep detailed records, and travel up to 30% to various sites. A High School diploma and valid driver’s license are required, with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of testing equipment including digital voltmeters.
• Familiar with mechanical and electrical tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift and move items as required.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and calibration of emission equipment and lane systems.
• Install, test and calibrate equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic systems at stations.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks following procedures.
• Maintain service records and documentation.
• Travel up to 30% to station locations across the state.
