Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking an Emissions Compliance Specialist to perform emissions testing, analysis, and documentation for our equipment fleet. The role collaborates with Field Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and third-party vendors to ensure regulatory compliance and optimal performance.

Responsibilities include testing, data interpretation, and reporting under NSPS/ NESHAP guidelines, with travel as needed and a focus on maintaining compliant operation through troubleshooting and predictive

Qualifications

• Two (2) year degree in Applied Science or an engineering-related field from an accredited college, or a minimum of two years direct work experience may substitute for a degree.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform emissions testing and monitoring to support required engine/turbine testing programs using specialized instruments and software.
• Record, validate, and document emissions levels for applicable pollutants.
• Coordinate emissions testing schedules to meet permit and regulatory deadlines.
• Coordinate with Field Operations and Air Compliance to set test dates/times within required timelines.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute emissions monitoring reports and records.
