Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Physiatrist / Neurologist to join on-site as a 1099 independent contractor for EMGs and NCS. The role complements your current practice with approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly at our Fresno location.

You will work as part of Concentra Advanced Specialists, focusing on musculoskeletal injuries, returning patients to work, and functional restoration, in collaboration with medical and therapy teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in treating work-related injuries
• State licensure in practice state
• Graduate of an MD or DO program
• Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neurology or PM&R
• Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage for on-site work

Job description

Concentra, one of the largest health care companies in the nation, is looking for a Physiatrist / Neurologist to come on site to our location as a 1099 independent contractor to perform EMGs and NCS. This role is a contract position and is meant to compliment your current practice. A typical partnership will involve treating patients on site at Concentra for approximately a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis.

Concentra Advanced Specialists assist in the management of medically complex patients, expedite return to work and functional restoration. Working collaboratively with medical and therapy providers, you will provide specialist services - primarily EMGs and NCS - for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work related injuries. The treatments you provide will make a tremendous difference in the lives of those who look to us for care and comfort.

This position is an independent contractor role for Concentra. Compensation for services is determined by a revenue share model.

• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
• Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neurology or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site
