Job summary

CTG is seeking a Project Engineer – EMF/RF in Fredericksburg, VA for a 6-month contract to hire with a hybrid schedule. You will perform EMF/RF analysis, site surveys, and collaborate with architects and design teams to refine EMF/RF solutions.

Responsibilities include developing processes, reviewing RFIs and shop drawings, and documenting components. Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and FE candidacy; willing to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • FE certification completed or planned within 8 months.

Responsibilities

  • Provide EMF/RF analysis and problem resolution using simulation software.
  • Conduct EMF/RF site surveys and mitigate interference.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and value analyses.
  • Investigate complex projects requiring atypical designs.
  • Develop engineering processes to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine RF solutions.
  • Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
  • Support project and construction teams through lifecycle.
  • Work in a lab assembling, modifying, testing prototypes.
  • Document components including materials and tolerances.
