Job summary
Burns & Farrey, P.C. invites May 2026 law school graduates to join as Junior Associate, working under seasoned trial attorneys from day one.
You will complete B&F Academy and begin with written discovery, legal research, and problem solving for clients; you’ll learn practical trial skills from veteran litigators.
In your first year you will handle hearings, pleadings, depositions, and client reporting, building independence and courtroom readiness.
Qualifications
- Must have a J.D. from an accredited law school conferred by May 2026.
- Must have sat for the Massachusetts bar exam; admission pending expected.
- Strong academic credentials with excellent organizational, research, writing, and analytical skills.
- State or federal clerkship, law review, moot court, or clinical experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build the foundation of a trial practice under mentorship.
- Learn written discovery, legal research, and problem solving for clients.
- Handle motion hearings, pleadings, and client reporting independently.
- Prepare large-scale depositions and conduct depositions.
- Work directly with clients and partners on complex issues.
