Valor Collegiate Academies in Nashville, TN, is hiring a full-time Associate Teacher to provide instructional support during short-term absences and long-term vacancies. This teacher residency-like role offers on-site training and a path to certification through Valor’s Transition to Teach Program.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree with a 2.50 GPA and a readiness to grow within grades 5–12. Compensation starts at $36,067 and can rise to $46,773 when advancing to Instructional Support

• Bachelor’s degree with at least a 2.50 GPA.
• Interest in becoming a certified teacher within 1-2 years.
• Flexible and a team player, willing to support across grades 5-12.
• Ability to manage students and learn new tech/online platforms.
• Growth mindset and openness to feedback.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver lessons to students across campuses as needed for coverage.
• Evaluate student work and provide grades.
• Meet with a coach and attend prep meetings to refine teaching.
• Uphold school values and student behavior policies.
• Support additional duties such as supervision during arrival/recess.
• Track and report daily student behavior and engagement.
• Respond to behavior progress with recommended interventions.
• Participate in weekly faculty Circle (Wednesdays after school).
