Job summary

WSP is seeking a Civil Engineer with a focus in Structural Engineering to support projects involving dams, hydraulic structures, energy storage and generating facilities. You will assist with design calculations, field plans, schedules, cost estimates, drawings and reports, working under supervision with project teams.

Responsibilities include site inspections across the United States, adherence to safety policies, and participation in training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic professional structural engineering work related to dams, hydraulic structures, energy storage and generating facilities.
• Work with project managers and lead engineers on dam safety and energy projects.
• Prepare or review design calculations, design criteria documents or studies.
• Prepare or review field work plans, construction activities, schedules and cost estimates.
• Prepare or review construction and bid specifications.
• Prepare or review drawings and written reports.
• Participate in site inspections for projects across the United States.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds and conduct.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
