Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters. Responsible for managing the front end of the store and making recommendations on the overall operations of the Pharmacy and Retail Store.

Supports Store Manager with the overall operation of the store to achieve company deliverables; works alternate schedules with the Store Manager with minimal overlap; assumes responsibilities of all store activities in the absence of the Store Manager. Ensures proper merchandising, protection of store assets, and improves store sales and profitability.

Leads and manages store team members, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline of direct reports to ensure teams are engaged and responsible for their duties.

Customer Experience
  • Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance. Resolves complaints promptly and answers questions to ensure a positive experience. Shares customer service best practices.
  • Monitors customer service, provides coaching and training, and develops improvement plans for both front-end and pharmacy teams. Empowers team members to resolve customer issues effectively, aiming to exceed expectations and foster loyalty.
  • Improves overall customer service metrics.
Operations
  • Supervises store operation and team activities, including task delegation, shift management, and scheduling to ensure proper coverage.
  • Collaborates with external partners to support community outreach and store growth.
  • Supports data analysis and decision-making processes to enhance store performance.
  • Manages cash operations, inventory, store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with policies and laws.
Business Performance Management
  • Analyzes financial and performance data to create action plans for store improvement.
  • Uses KPIs and other tools to engage the team and identify sales opportunities.
  • Supports pharmacy operations during busy periods, including serving as a pharmacy technician if needed.
People & Performance Management
  • Leads and trains team members, providing coaching and career development support.
  • Manages performance through responsibilities, goal setting, feedback, and recognition.
  • Recruits and retains talent, plans staffing needs, and participates in hiring decisions.
  • Follows proper procedures for recruitment, training, and record keeping.
  • Fosters a culture of accountability and performance improvement.
Training & Personal Development
  • Completes required training programs and certifications.
  • Monitors personal performance, seeks feedback, and maintains a development plan.
  • Obtains and maintains a valid pharmacy technician license as required.
Communications
  • Maintains open communication with team members through meetings and discussions.
  • Assists in planning and communicating store strategies.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, leadership skills, willingness to complete training, and flexibility in schedule and location. The role offers a salary range of $45,000 - $71,550 and remains open until filled.
