Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising customer service associates and designated hitters, managing the front end of the store, and making recommendations on the overall operations of the Pharmacy and Retail Store.
  • Supporting the Store Manager in store operations, managing schedules, and assuming store responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Leading and managing store team members, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline.
  • Enhancing customer experience by engaging with customers, resolving complaints, and coaching staff on customer service best practices.
  • Overseeing store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, store maintenance, and compliance with policies and laws.
  • Analyzing financial and performance data to support business goals, and supporting pharmacy operations during busy periods.
  • Leading and developing team members, managing performance, and building talent pipelines.
  • Completing training and development programs, maintaining required licenses, and fostering effective communication within the team.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with management experience preferred.
  • Leadership abilities, strong communication skills, and business acumen.
  • Willingness to complete required training and work flexible hours.
  • Ability to relocate or transfer within Walgreens stores as needed.
