Job summary

PCI Professional Services seeks a Junior Security / Logistics Specialist to support inventory management, secure handling of high-sensitivity equipment, and serialized assets at Schriever Space Force Base. You will maintain property records, ensure secure movement of equipment, and support day-to-day logistics and security operations in a Red LAN environment.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical training preferred.
• 1–3 years in logistics, inventory management, warehouse operations, property management, or security.
• Experience maintaining inventory records and tracking serialized equipment.
• Ability to follow security, handling, storage, and transportation procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical, logistics, security, and government personnel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory, distribution, storage, and secure handling of high-sensitivity IT equipment and spares.
• Receive, inspect, document, store, and issue equipment per security and logistics procedures.
• Maintain accurate serialized equipment inventories and asset tracking throughout the lifecycle.
• Apply and maintain property identification and asset tags per government requirements.
• Ensure secure movement, transfer, and transportation of sensitive equipment and materials.
• Prepare equipment for shipment with proper packaging, labeling, and chain-of-custody compliance.
• Verify shipment contents against records and authorization requirements.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and physical inventories to validate asset records.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory variances; document and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain logistics records, inventory databases, property documentation, and supporting reports.
• Support audits, inspections, and property accountability activities.
• Coordinate with security, systems engineering, and program personnel to ensure availability with security controls.
• Identify issues and elevate potential security or accountability concerns.
• Support development and improvement of logistics procedures and asset management processes.
