Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Junior Treasury Dealer to join the Treasury Strategy and Markets Team in New York. You will assist in execution and management of multi-asset class trading strategies across FX, equities, and commodities, working alongside senior traders.

You will learn trading platforms and analytics, support testing and automation, and help build dashboards while maintaining a rigorous control environment and compliance with Amazon policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience.
• 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable experience.
• 4+ years applying KPIs to analyses.
• 4+ years creating automation and analysis processes.
• 4+ years leading improvements to finance tools and processes.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in a quantitative role or related experience.
• Experience with SQL for data mining and BI.
• Lean or QA engineer background.

Responsibilities

• Execute FX, equity, and commodity trades to support Amazon's operations.
• Monitor real-time market conditions, liquidity, and pricing across venues.
• Create and distribute reports tracking execution metrics and KPIs.
• Conduct Transaction Cost Analysis to optimize performance.
• Design and maintain trading dashboards for real-time visibility.
• Coordinate with liquidity providers and counterparty reviews.
• Support settlement processes and resolve trading issues promptly.
• Document SOPs for trading activities across all asset classes.
• Collaborate with Global Payments, Finance Ops, and Technology on improvements.
• Stay updated on market developments and regulatory changes.
• Assist with ad-hoc analyses and management presentations.
