Job summary

NBBJ is seeking an entry-level interior designer or interior architect to contribute to large, complex projects and grow within a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2–6 years of interior design experience and a degree in interior design/architecture, with LEED knowledge or near-term accreditation. Proficiency in Revit, 3D modeling, and the listed design tools is expected.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of professional experience in Interior Design.
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
• LEED Accreditation or within 18 months of hire.
• Strong conceptual design and schematic design skills.
• Strong verbal and graphic communication skills.
• Proficiency in Revit with 3D modeling skills essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch Up, Rhino and/or 3DS Max.
• Creation of presentation books and materials.
• Experience with researching, selecting and specifying materials and finishes.
• Experience with furniture selection and specification.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, open environment.

The Role At a Glance

We are seeking an entry-level interior designer or interior architect to work on a large, complex projects. The position will offer the candidate opportunities to grow within the firm and exposure to an innovative, fast-paced and highly collaborative environment

In Your New Role, You Will

The annual base pay range for this role dependent on location. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience, approximately $65,000-$73,000/year.

This role requires the individual to be based in the United States.
