Job summary

Principle Automotive is seeking a Junior HR Business Partner to support assigned dealerships with HR guidance and routine employment matters. This developmental role reports to the Director of People & Talent and partners with HR colleagues, evolving toward independent business-partner capabilities.

You will handle routine issues, assist with recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations while developing broader consulting skills and knowledge within a dynamic automotive retail environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of professional Human Resources experience.
• Experience in at least two areas: employee relations, recruiting, performance management, HR administration, onboarding, HRIS, or training.
• Experience communicating with managers and employees about workplace matters.
• Experience preparing or maintaining confidential HR documentation.
• Experience managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to assigned dealerships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary People & Talent contact for assigned dealerships.
• Provide guidance on attendance, performance, conduct, and routine corrective-action matters.
• Assist with recruiting and workforce planning for critical roles.
• Support investigations, documentation, and coaching related to employee matters.
• Monitor workforce trends and participate in workforce reviews.
• Coordinate onboarding, records, and changes with the HR Coordinator.
