Job summary

Brierley Associates is seeking a highly motivated Geo-Structural Engineer to join our [LOCATION] office. You will work on challenging projects involving deep excavations, foundations, SOE systems, tunnels, and other complex geo-structural systems across North America.

Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program; MS preferred.
Structural engineering focus with basic geotechnical coursework.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with strong communication.
Willingness to travel for short-term field assignments.
FE exam completion preferred; plan to obtain PE/SE within 4 years.

Responsibilities

Assist senior engineers with design of foundations, SOE, tunnels, and underground structures.
Analyze and design steel, reinforced concrete, timber per codes and standards.
Prepare design calculations, sketches, reports, and specifications.
Supervise CAD/BIM drawings and models.
Collaborate with engineers across offices and communicate with clients.
Visit construction sites to observe ongoing work and gather data.
