Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer-In-Training in our Phoenix, AZ office. You will assist with data collection, design calculations, and model-based analyses to support water and wastewater projects.

The role requires an EIT certification and a BS or MS in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering with a water/wastewater emphasis. Strong communication and team collaboration skills are essential, with opportunities for growth within a leading engineering firm.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Chemical Engineering with an emphasis in water/wastewater engineering.
• EIT certification (Fundamentals of Engineering exam) required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and virtually.
• Ability to coordinate engineering solutions in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong verbal, computer (MS Office), and organizational skills.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• ArcGIS experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection and analysis for projects.
• Prepare calculations and designs for water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
• Check design computations and quantity estimates.
• Use computer models to simulate real-world conditions.
• Develop process and hydraulic calculations for water and wastewater facilities.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related design tools.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, I&C, structural, and CAD teams to support plans and specs.
• Assist in developing asset management and master plans and rate studies.
• Support construction phase services including review of submittals and site visits.
