Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an entry-level Environmental or Civil Engineering Intern to join our Virginia Beach or Fairfax, VA team. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering, or related discipline, with 1 year of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Supporting engineering analyses and design efforts on water, wastewater, and environmental projects.
• Assisting with technical reports, calculations, and project documentation.
• Developing maps, figures, presentations, and other project materials.
• Participating in fieldwork and construction management activities, providing exposure to the full project lifecycle.
