Shirley Contracting Company, LLC seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support multiple projects across the Richmond/Williamsburg/Hampton areas. You will work with the Project Manager to implement goals, coordinate planning, and help manage budgets and schedules.

Requires 3–5 years in construction management and strong communication skills; HS diploma required, Bachelor's preferred. Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $115,000, with full benefits and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction management experience.
• Understanding of construction procedures and materials.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, scheduling, supervising and coordinating projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Assist in negotiations and management of contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
• Help determine needed resources from start to finish with attention to schedule and budget.
• Organize, file and maintain project documents.
• Support health and safety policies and maintain positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
